Centre for Disability in Development (CDD) is working in Bangladesh since 1996 to mainstream disability issues into development. One of the key thematic areas is Disability inclusive DRR, CCA & Humanitarian Aid. All projects are implemented through direct community involvement including persons with disabilities and their organizations both at rural and urban locations in the country. 

CDD is actively involved in policy advocacy on disability and disaster both in national and international level with an outcome of Dhaka Declarations 2015 & 2015+.  In this journey CDD has become direct partner of the Government of Bangladesh and also working with UN and international agencies like UNDP, UNHR, UNICEF, IOM, CBM, ASB, HI, Light for the World, GiZ etc.
